Module 1: Do you face any of these scenarios in your workplace?

Module 2: How Do You Clarify Expectations and Priorities With Your Boss?
In this second module, we'll go through how to communicate your expectations and priorities to your boss. We;ll provide you with several practices and questions to aid in the clarification process. Finally, we will go over the validation procedure with your boss.

Module 3: How to overcome any anticipated resistance from your boss
In module 3, we'll look at how to overcome your boss's obstinate opposition. We explain why you should anticipate some opposition and provide examples. Finally, we offer strategies for dealing with your boss's expected and typical resistance to clarification questions. You take a quiz to identify your boss's predictable resistance. Then we show you how to clarify your priorities with your boss. Finally, we will provide you with a few examples of success. We ask you to identify a question you would like to ask your boss to help him/her understand your priorities in your action plan.

Module 4: How to Get Your Next Promotion and Better Understand your Boss’s Objectives
Module 4 discusses how to get on the fast track to your next promotion and how to better balance your priorities. Following that, we'll give you some tips and examples of success to help you better understand your boss's priorities. Finally, in your action plan, please identify a question you would like to ask your boss.

Module 5: Summary and Action Plan
This module provides a course summary and allows you to work on your action plan. First, here are five things to remember. Then you take a quiz to determine an important action you want to take beginning tomorrow. You are invited to leave a comment for other participants and become a member of the community of leaders who act.
